    We had no choice but to do the track beach first, due to an early morning low tide. Yes, the beach part is the best bit, but there are some compensations going the wrong way : the worst part of the walk on the farm track is over more quickly and at least you have good views going down. The endless staircase enables a rapid ascent from the stream for anyone of reasonable fitness.
