We used to swim in this pool back in the 1950’s before it was done up and had cherry trees all around it the rats swimming in it at the same time we were The old concrete changing rooms and concrete steps going into the pool.Stopping there on our way to school on horse back in the middle of winter for a warm up before school.

I can remember going as a family to swim in Butchers pool nearly 60 years ago. It looked just like a creek in the bush back then. We always had so much fun
